Gym Hair Don't Care: 5 FitGirl Hairstyles I Love

One of my biggest pet peeves when I'm working out, is when my hair elastic malfunctions and I can feel my ponytail coming undone during high intensity moves like jumping jacks, high knees etc. I'm always in awe when I see these girls on my workout DVDs (like 21 Day Fix and Country Heat) and their hair literally does not move. So I scoured the net looking for a few I wouldn't mind trying and I realized sharing is caring so here you go: 5 fitgirl hairstyles I love and think you will too!

3 YouTube Fitness Trainers You HAVE to Follow

Before I started 21 Day Fix, I used to frequent YouTube to find workouts to keep my body moving. From easy peasy ones like Walk Away the Pounds, to super hard ones like HIIT Nation (which let's be honest, clearly I didn't stick with), there were so many to choose from. To keep you from getting YouTube workout ADD like me, here are a few vloggers I follow that I love love love. 

YouTube trainers I'll never cheat on: 

The Tone it Up Girls. I've been plugged into their channel for years. Love their challenges and their body positive messages.

Blogilates. Casey Ho is so energetic, has the cutest outfits, and I've really loved seeing her empire grow over the years. Also a body positive/girl power advocate, she once liked and commented on one of my Facebook posts and I just about died. Best day ever.

Sarah Fit. Just lovely in every way, Sarah is my go to for simple recipe ideas and workouts that I can handle, but still challenge me.

End of Summer Slim Down Challenge: 21 Day Fix Style!

OK guys, starting on August 15, I'll be doing one more round of 21 Day Fix to finish the summer strong before I get Fit for Fall with my September Country Heat Group Challenge (details on that to follow).

{Motivation Monday} Looking Back and Moving On

I can't believe this was me about 2 years ago....I remember being on my weight loss journey and thinking I needed to lose another 15 pounds.

Talk about being delusional. I am working towards this shape again and I know I can get there. It's not about the number on the scale, it's about feeling comfortable in my own skin - especially since having kids has totally changed my body...and let's not forget how wonderful gravity is after you hit 30...and how it f's you up again at 35! #effinghormones #gravitycansuckit

Still working hard at it with 21 Day Fix (almost half way done)....and I know I'll reach this goal soon, even if it takes a couple more rounds of 21 Day Fix, or a few 30 day fitness challenges plus eating healthy and watching my portions!
