Small Scale Victory!

It's been just over a week since I've committed to getting healthy and fit again and while I totally struck out with starting 21 Day Fix Extreme last week, I did work hard at starting and sticking to meal planning. And the hard work paid off...I lost 2 pounds. 

How did I do it?

Well I started by planning out my family's dinners each night and then I planned out my lunches. I measured and portioned everything out and while I didn't calorie count, I still kept a food journal of everything I ate. 


I also made sure to drink 2 litres of water each day and I did not snack on any treats (healthy or not) after the kids went to bed. 

While I didn't start the 21 Day Fix Extreme as planned, I did try to do a couple of rounds of this no-equipment workout I found on Pinterest. 

So all in all, I had a stellar first week. I can't wait to see what this week brings!
